The Website is freelance service providing platform based in Toronto, On, Canada which connects Freelance Service Providers (“Freelancers”) and users who register themselves as clients (“Clients”) (both “Freelancers” and “Clients” are hereinafter collectively referred to as “You”, “Your”, or “Users”). The Website offers an online freelance platform including an escrow payment facility to Users to ensure seamless communication and service delivery between the Freelancers and Clients as set out Terms of Service for Freelance Service Providers and Terms of Service for Clients respectively (hereinafter referred to as “Services”).

1.Client/s

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE US VOLUNTARILY

There is some personal information that you voluntarily provide us when you use the Website. Some of the voluntarily submitted information is mandatory, and the rest is optional. Mandatory information is required for us to deliver our service to you. We will clearly inform you which elements of personal information are mandatory, and which are optional.

●Create a Client Account

When you sign up to create an account on the Website, we request you to provide your full name, your email address, and other similar mandatory information.

  • Create your Client account on the Website.
  • To enable you to log in to your Client Account and make use of the Website features and functionality as set out in Terms of Service that you agree to at the time of account registration and as amended.

●Post Service Requests

When you post a Service Request on the Website, we receive the content of your Service Request. We use this information to notify Freelancers in your local area that match your service category and sub-category.

When you place an order for a freelance service through the Website, you provide your payment information directly to our payment processor who is responsible for keeping the funds in an escrow account pending the delivery of your requested service.  This information is used to process your order.

●When you leave a Freelancer a Service Rating and Review

After your order is complete, you are offered the opportunity to rate and review the Freelancer. When you leave a review, we will have access to the content of your review, and it will be publicly visible to all those who view the Freelancer’s profile. Please do not share any personal information in public reviews that you do not wish to be visible to other Users.

●Request to receive marketing communication

If you opt-in to receive marketing communication from us, we will use your email address to send you marketing material that we think you will find interesting.

When you apply for a Freelancer account on our website, there is some personal information that you voluntarily provide us. Some of the voluntarily provided information is mandatory, and we use this information to assess your account application.

You currently provide us with personal information when you:

●Apply for a Freelancer Account

When you apply for a Freelancer account, we request you to provide your full name, your email address, your phone number. You will also be required to submit your service license, certificates and other relevant proof of eligibility to perform the Services that you wish to offer through the Website.  

This information is used to:

  • To manually verify your identity and qualification.
  • To create your Freelancer account on the Website.
  • To enable you to log in to Freelancer account and make use of the Freelancer features and functionality as set out in the Terms.

●Create/Offer Freelance Service Listing

When you create/offer specific Freelance Service through your profile, we receive information about the content of your Freelance Service. We use this information to show your profile in search results when a Client searches for a Freelance Service that you offer. We also notify you when a Client posts a Service Request that matches the Freelance Services offered by you.

●Order Information

When a Client places an order for your Freelance Service through the Website, we gain information about the amount of the order by you as well as the details of the Service Request you agreed to perform. We use this information to hold the funds in the escrow account and process the payment on completion of the order.

●Your Service Ratings and Reviews

When a Client leaves a review for your Freelance Service, we gain access to the content of the Rating and Review. We make this information publicly available on your public profile on the Website.

If you opt-in to receive marketing communication from us, we will use your email address to send you marketing material.
